Edward E. Angwin has extensive experience in class actions, mass torts, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, consumer litigation and also in appellate practice. He has successfully argued before the Alabama Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Eleventh Circuits and has been counsel in cases which have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in judgments and settlements for his clients, including DiCosolo v. Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., 951 N.E.2d 1238 (Ill. App. 2011) which resulted in a jury award nearing $20,000,000.

Ed graduated in 1987 from Cumberland School of Law, cum laude, where he served as an editor of the Cumberland Law Review, was elected to the academic honorary society Curia Honoris and received other academic awards. He subsequently attended Georgetown University Law Center in their Masters of Securities Law program. After law school he served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Richard L. Jones, Senior Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama and also a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Robert B. Propst, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.

Ed works with KVK in an of counsel capacity to its litigation department. He brings decades of courtroom experience to the firm.
